With  two more days to go Cebuanos will celebrate the famous much awaited Sinulog festival. Hotels, inns  & resorts are fully booked.  Few years back  I had a chance to stay at Vista Mar Beach Resort and Country Club, though the location is a bit far from the Sinulog festivities it was  worth it. Vista Mar is located at the eastern part of Mactan Island and just 15 minutes away from the international airport and 35 minutes away from Cebu City. 

It has 14 villas complete with a 5-star resort amenities.  The sports and recreational facilities such as the two clay tennis courts, basketball and volleyball court and three swimming pools will definitely help you stay fit while you enjoy your  vacation.  For local tourist, a sufficient parking area is available.

The resort offers  function rooms for conferences and business meetings, and  for special occasions as well.  Their standard rooms are furnished with king size bed, a mini bar, writing desk, cabled tv,hot and cold shower making your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.  Since this resort are for club members, rates for guest’s are higher compared to its members but the price is still reasonable.

One can enjoy watching the sunrise while having a drink at your balcony and feeling the fresh and gentle breeze of air.  A thing that I really cherished during my stay. In the early morning you can also take a plunge at the sea with clear waters and white sand beach.

Making your stay in Vista Mar is worthwhile when you have your family and friends  with you.
