Villa Teresita is the reason I now have a swimming-pool-slide
trauma. It was one of those exciting moments I always wanted to try, but it
turned out to be so frightful and unforgettable I did not want to do it ever
again…no matter how small the slide is. I would not go into details on what really
happened. I was not hurt; I was just quite terrorized by the experience....

If you want a little piece of China, then you have to go to
Taoist Temple in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Lahug. This is a place of worship
for Taoism believers, but it is open for non-believers as well. I could still remember
my sisters boasting about visiting a Chinese Temple in Cebu. The story of
dragons and the winding steps towards the sky are still embedded in my memory.
